Containers Only
- Take your empt bottle and jars to the nearest bottle bank. This is what allowed. In some countries, you are encouraged to rise containers. Chek with your local authorities.
Step 2
Keep Out The Junk
- Unwanted materials decrease the value of the recovered glass and increase recycling costs. Never put non-container glass, metals, or other contaminants in a bottle bank.
Step 3
Sort By Colour
- it is very simple and important that you put each bottle or jar in the correct bottle bank to ensure high-quality glass. A small effort which in the end reduces CO2 emissions!
Some countries/ cities have 3 types: White, green, and brown. In this case blue glass goes in the green bottle bank. Other countries/cities only have 2 kinds of bottle banks: white or coloured. And some countries have just one type of bottle bank.
Final Tip: Never put glass returnable bottles in a bottle bank - Always returm then to the place where you bought them..
